THE LAST MEETING BEFORE THE SPEAK OUT

The Last Meeting before the Speak Out (The Twenty Second Meeting) took place on the 16th of March 2018.

For the whole meeting we just focused on our Speak Out Presentation.

At the beginning of this meeting we rewrote the plan for the Speak Out on the whiteboard.

After this, we assigned Rónán Smyth to find music for the presentation, in which he successfully achieved finding fantastic music for the presentation.

Frank, Dario, Ethan and Cian practiced reading the Script a number of times throughout the meeting.

The Off Grid Team decided that the script was good for the Speak Out and we decided to use this script.

We fortunately got the opportunity to perform our presentation to a Drama Teacher in our school Ms. O'Brien, who gave us very helpful advice regarding our tone of voice, movements and speed.

After practicing the full presentation over a dozen times, Ethan and Daragh had to take a bus to Dublin City in order to get the t-shirts needed for the Speak Out.

Once they were back we kept practicing and timing until school was finished, in which we are all very satisfied with our presentation.

We left the meeting with every member of Off Grid knowing the full plan and looking forward for this year's YSI Speak Out...
