The Ninth Meeting

The Ninth Meeting was on the 16th of November 2017

We began the meeting by discussing that we need an entirely new website as the one we had (ronanjsmyth.wixsite.com/offthegrid) was too hard to find.

Rónán Smyth agreed and stated he would start a new website with a completely different domain..

Our teacher Mr. Sam came in and asked what every committee was doing and what was their progress.

The Communication Committee stated that they are failing to find a provider for grants to get the Solar Panels for our Young Social Innovators Project.

Dylan Evenden rang Deputy Bríd Smith’s office in order to meet her but unfortunately they did not answer.

Dylan then rang Activ8 Solar Energies. Fortunately, they answered and stated that Margaret King would call Dylan back as she was on her lunch break.

Leo Cunningham briefly told the group about what Solar Panels we need and the Watts we need to power it.

We left the meeting knowing everyone’s progress and hoped Margaret King and Bríd Smith would ring Dylan Evenden.
