The Fifth Meeting

The Fifth meeting was on the 5th of October 2017.

Mr. Sam began the meeting by suggesting that we should make films or short films regarding our project and post it on YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion etc.

Our coordinator Frank Wolfe discussed his progress saying he was able to get the School's Electricity Ireland Invoices.We as a group looked at these reports in detail to view our school's Electricity Expenditure.

Michael Kiely (Grants Committee) told us that he was looking into Community Grants and that we would have to apply by the 13th of October.

Mr. Sam gave us the good news that Brid Smith agrees to meet us in Novermber after a Conference in Bonne, Germany to dicuss our Young Social Innovators project.

Ronan Smyth also showed us progress on the Website. We were helping him add other things as well to the website as we viewed it on this meeting.

Leo Cunningham (Research Technical Committee) also told us he was preparing to send e-mail to places he has done a lot of Research on the Solar Panels and that he will probably email them by next week.

Frank Wolfe also told us that he has followed up on emailing Aoife Cannon of the SEAI whom is in charge of the School Section.

Mr. Sam told us that we need to register by the 11th of October on youngsocialinnovators.ie.

We as a group also decided that we should begin publishing the website, Ronan also stated that it will be definitely published in the next week or two.

We finished the meeting after 1 hour taking in everything that was said at the meeting.
